defected ALDH gene as a facial flush as they drink. dam irish background the flush never stopped me from drinking. and it appears some of your know friends it doesn't stop either. i expect if you drink often the body builds up resistance to the flush. it is kind of like taking niacin.. you get the flush, but after taking it for a few weeks your system tolerates it and no longer does the flush appear. i was talking more about addiction as defective gene as i have know people who take one or two drinks and cannot stop. I assume japan is Asian and aren't they one the largest population for drinking. I thought most of the business conducted in japan was the night life.
