It's plainly obvious you have no clue how to assess risk.

A large number of alcoholics are not street bums. Maybe the guy who operates on your prostate will be an alcoholic, or maybe you will get lucky and have a muslim doctor work on you.

Although you are unaware of it, you are exactly telling other people what they should and should not do, and feel justified in making sure they don't have the same rights as you do to boot.

Finally, it appears obvious to me who is "rolling over" like a whimpering puppy in the face of exaggerated, blown out of all proportion, supposed risk from terrorists and criminals.

You appear scared even of your own shadow.

I have no desire to tell others how to live their lives, but if and when these stone age creatures try to impose their laws and religion on me and my family and my community, then we'll see what happens....

Is that really what they want?

Here's what Paul Wolfowitz said in his Vanity Fair interview:

defenselink.mil

There are a lot of things that are different now, and one that has gone by almost unnoticed--but it's huge--is that by complete mutual agreement between the U.S. and the Saudi government we can now remove almost all of our forces from Saudi Arabia. Their presence there over the last 12 years has been a source of enormous difficulty for a friendly government. It's been a huge recruiting device for al Qaeda. In fact if you look at bin Laden, one of his principle grievances was the presence of so-called crusader forces on the holy land, Mecca and Medina. I think just lifting that burden from the Saudis is itself going to open the door to other positive things.
