I fly my flag at my front door every day the weather permits. Have done so for years. Many neighbors started doing it when they saw mine. God Bless America!

Anyone else sweltering out there? It's 97 degrees in Denver at 3:10 PM today. My A/C has been on since about 11 this morning.

You're welcome.

I agree with flying our flag. We just received a new one for outside from our American Legion, which my husband belongs to, and reminded me I need to purchase a holder for outside here.

We had a holder outside our bay home that the former owner left and always put out our flag when we arrived so that anyone coming by would know that we were in residence there on weekends or vacation time we spent there. It let them know that we were welcoming company for anyone who wanted to stop to visit. They also sent us a car sticker that says, "I'm Proud To Be An American" which I plan to attach to my car.

When I see a sticker on other cars that is patriotic, I always smile. It is still nice to see others that have hung on to being patriotic and very supportive of our Country. No, politics is not what our country stands for. It stands to tell us we are free people in a great land to reside in.
