The democratic party had nothing to do with the totally inept way the occupation of Iraq was handled.

That is on the republicans. And that is why the situation is as bad as it is today.

The White House refused to listen to those with experience and got us into deep s------. I understand that two months before the invasion Bush did not know , let alone understand, the difference between the main Islamic sects.
