Maxine Waters is a jerk. In considering that she has managed to remain elected since 1976 in CA state and congress, I am inclined to believe that her constituents really like the taste of her koolaid. What is also interesting is that she once represented a predominant black population within her district. That has changed to a hispanic majority in all but one city. She is one of several congress types who enjoy the label of 'most corrupt' politician by the Citizen for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
