This is the heartland talking. Indiana's very experienced senator who also lived through the similar debacle in Vietnam which decimated an entire generationm of young American men and cost us in today's dollars trillions in debt. Carter gets blamed for inflation but it was the Vietnam War debt that was to blame. Carter was just in office at an unlucky time. Whoever follows Bush will probably experience severe econolmic hardships too, when GW Bush's multi trillion dollar war andf corporate gouging party tab has to finally be paid.

Moderate Muslims themselves must find it tough to respect their culture when it has failed to stand up to all the mentally-ill jihadists in their midsts, as the latter merrily sever heads and attempt to incinerate innocent civilians.
