Don't lecture me about Win having a differing opinion. Go read his entire history of posts, you won't find a single one that was written to debate. His entire style is to sneer and consider it an successful argument. Points of fact are quite by the way.

My entire point was and is that anyone who gets his news from the top of the hour reports on CNN or BBC or NPR won't have heard yet of the very US major operations taking place in Baquba under the name "Arrowhead Ripper." This point still stands. Doing search on websites or looking the back pages of the newspapers is irrelevant to my point. I hear the BBC World Service every day, they haven't mentioned it yet.

My point is also that most of the MSM would rather be used as the tools of Al Qaeda and Hizbullah than risk being accused of being "patriotric" or "pro US". As such, they make themselves ready tools for the media-savvy terrorists, who can give themselves "victories" at will just by exploding car bombs in marketplaces. That gets the headlines. Meantime, any US military successes are buried on page B8. So that we will know Iraq is improving only if it disappears off the news entirely.

If this strains your credulity, I lack the time and patience to painstakingly assemble the evidence that might or might not inform your ignorance. It's there on Patterico and CAMERA and many other media watch sites.
