I can't eat half what I did at 18. A local thing is wing dings or all you can eat chicken wings. I would eat 2 dozen wings and have the owner of the local tavern in tears. Now I eat 5/6 and am stuffed.

Eat half as much and still gain weight. Life is not fair.

"Full sooner"...that's for sure! It's a main reason we like to eat lunch at Applebee's. They offer 1/2 servings of their salads. They only knock a buck off the price but the meal is more than enough.

I was in a Village Inn a few weeks ago for breakfast. I asked if I could get a half order of their biscuits and sausage gravy. The answer? "Oh we could never do that." I ordered a poached egg and a single slice of toast. On the way out I told the manager they should consider 1/2 orders and would probably find it a popular option. He said we'll think about it. I haven't been back.

Restaurants notoriously overfeed.
