Oh.....thanks....that's a good site to bookmark. I thought it was interesting that the whiskey is actually in the pie as opposed to being in a sauce that you drizzle over the pie like the one we had in WDC. I've made a couple of pecan pies, and learned from the very beginning that I needed to watch it very carefully so that it didn't burn. All that sugar just wants to catch on fire.

Your link has some really good examples and tips. Next time I go to bake one I'll do some thorough reading.

I can eat a huge slice of any kind of pie or cake you throw in front of me. That is why I don't have them in the house much.

I was at Costco today, and passed those luscious chocolate cakes. I thought for a minute that I could buy one instead of making cupcakes, but I have all the ingredients........and a little flag to put in each one when they are done......so passed it up.

This time!

I absolutely LOVE pecan pie. OK... so we're supposed to love people and not things (so I've been told) but to me, Pecan Pie is a People!! :)
