Question. Employers have to pay their portion of SS when hiring an employee. 7.65% for each employee, and each employee pays the Government that same amount from each paycheck.

--Are ILLEGALS employees if they are day laborers, but come to the fields every day? Do the employers pay these people cash, so there is no trace of them, nor the money?

--If a Temp Agency hires them, then that Agency is responsible for the SS. Does any Government Agency bother checking that?

--Are the ILLEGALS gathering credits toward SS?

WHY isn't the Social Security Agency trading info with ICE? And whatever other Agency who wants to know how many ILLEGALS are working in the US.

I think I heard there were laws against Agencies trading info between them.... Anyone know if this is true? Who wrote and passed that law if it is one, and when was it done?
