Whatever Rand believed about abortion (and frankly why should anyone care),

Rand was militantly for a woman's right to choose.

I have read Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead. I was fascinated by Atlas Shrugged. I believe there was much in Ayn Rands' writings to learn from.

I believe much of the looney left takes wealth as a foregone conClusion so that confiscation of such will not eliminate it.

Over and over again you see this in static analysis of tax policy.

The one problem I had with Ayn is she seemed to ignore the concept of "to whom much is given more should be expected".

Somehow those of us who were born fortunate do owe a debt of charity to the less fortunate. For those of us who are successful we need to honestly assess the role of family and birth location in our success. While there are some truly self made - most of us caught a few breaks along the way!
