Seattle is one of the cleanest cities in the U.S.

Arrrrgh! Name me a mayor or a sane political candidate that Seattlites have supported in the last 50 years.

OK, aside from that contagion, it's a beautimous setting.

And air pollution in Seattle is limited to a few days or weeks, mostly in the Summer,

Seattle is one of the cleanest cities in the U.S.
Boy are you ever making a good case for the worry of GW. If I can't see the mountains on the days the wind doesn't blow the air pollution out of here and if Seattle is one of the cleanest cities in the US, can you imagine the amount of crap we are sending into the atmosphere? ........Have you been to Seattle recently? The traffic is now usually a parking lot anytime close to rush hour. Cars sitting idling not going anywhere. This is the future for America that the conservatives wish for?

I never ever remember not being able to see the mts due to air pollution.
Me neither - until recently!! That is the whole point I was making.

conservatives are opposed to GW research and that they don't think about nor are interested in the study of the dynamics behind GW

Conservatives by definition do not like and resist change. Since by far most scientist now confirm and believe in GW, why are you not embracing it? If you believe in science and believe in research, by now you have to understand that it is happening. Those that don't are simply dismissing science.
