That would tick me off too.

Sony laptops are known to be a little more delicate than the average laptop, especially the very light executive models. The ThinkPads are little stronger than average, but not by much.

These differences in ruggedness are not that big for the average run of laptops.

Panasonic has a new line of ToughBooks, sort of a ToughBook lite, which is not tough enough for adventurous field activities, but doesn't have the large weight penalty.

GM sales down dramatically. Toyota up a lot, but not as much. Therefore, we can conclude that SUV lines are shutting, as per your long-ago script.http://money.cnn.com/2007/07/03/news/companies/ford_chrysler.reut/

Which is not surprising. They are absurd things for villagers moving about, buying groceries, going to movies.
