As I replied to you over there when I read the statement that the LA police had pulled back for their own safety I was positively amazed. No police dept from the 40's, 50's or 60's would have pulled back for the own safety. That is positively unreal. Reminds me of Colombine with all of those para military wanna be jerk offs hiding behind trees with their machine guns while the kids in the school are being slaughtered. Just saw the same thing with the college shooting. Cops of a bygone era would have been storming those buildings without any personal protection and just their snub nose 38 and would have been kicking ass and taking names. They may have had some get shot but it would have never occurred to them to stand outside and hide behind trees.
