Yes, but we as citizens accept our government's right to govern us because they (it) have to live by rules we grant them through the Constitution and the ballot box.

It would be naive for any conservative to not think that a large part of the population wonders if there is a double standard in place.

Politics is politics..the democrats will play this card all year long and it won't help to say: "forget this, we have more important things to do". That just looks like they are whitewashing it.

Bush will come to regret this action. The republicans who have to run next year and defend it will regreat it even more.

And comparing anything to what Clinton did is hardly a standard any of us should aspire to.
