We are really saying the same thing. AMD needs less of Fab 36 to make Barcelona than they previously anticipated. But Fab 36 will still be running at 100% of capacity.

It is at fab 30 that they will need fewer wafers, because it will piecemeal be converted to 45nm over a longer period of time, and the 65nm parts they were going to make there can now be made in Fab 36.

I think AMD is seriously questioning the economic viability of the entire Phenom (desktop) line of CPUs. The Soitec will have to wait while the AMD top brass are trying to choose between humiliation (killing it) and insanity (going ahead with the volume ramp).
