I look at as a balance of payments issue. While we get small amounts from the ME we send the money away. We also create overall demand. Oil is fungible.

It's not likely they will suddenly stop selling us oil. They want the money.

An attempt to freeze us out would have to come from the Saudis. They would be committing suicide to do so.
