The most important upgrade for a Sony ultra-light is the four or five year extended warranty. Well worth the extra $369.00 up-front. I've had the every single part in my TR2AP3 replaced once already under this warranty (screen, motherboard, memory chips, power converter . . . the works).

The only original part is the outer case. I think the ultra-lights generate too much heat to be dissipated by the small case.
