Tom,

The pink equivalents aren't as illiquid as they seem to be. I've been told by Fidelity that market makers for foreign equivalent pinks are not required to report transaction volume, which is why the charts of pinks are nearly useless. I've had no difficulty buying or selling them, there seems to be adequate liquidity. However, I agree with you--I much prefer buying and selling in a transparent market, where you know know how many shares are bid and offered, and at what prices. I've been using Interactive Brokers to buy Canadian shares; IB also allows you to buy on a few other European Exchanges (not London AIM, unfortunately).

Etrade Global Trading is supposed to launch in July us.etrade.com I'm going to give it a try.
