The thing is that unrequited envie turns to hate and disgust......
Quite frankly there are aspects of western consumerism that are truely obscene in every scence of the word.
We dont have vomitoriums...we have plasitic surgury and intestinal bypasses so we can keep on eating for the sheer glutany of it.

You don't appear to know many 3rd world poor. They aren't disgusted by western consumer spending levels, they are envious. They want washing machines, cars, cell phone, PS3 and plasma TVs as much as we do.
