News on T/V this am seems to indicate El Quiada is now thinking of merely hurling grenades at crowded scenes around America to create a feeling of panic nationwide. Seems pretty doable to me, but if it happens you people are gonna learn what Americans are capable of in a war scene. I wouldnt want to be an El Queida agent caught by the mob, I predict they would be able to sweep him/her up with a dustpan. jdn

Re: [For more than 35 years, arab kids have been taught in kindergarten how to wear bomb belts, to hate America, and to destroy the West, they have now grown up and putting it all into practice... ?]

"I surely hope the question was clear enough this time, I cannot make it any more plain..."

You STILL haven't asked a very clear question. For example: are you asking me something about the SAUDIS? The PAKISTANIS? (The Paks aren't 'Arabs'....) The INDONESIANS, largest Islamic country in the world? (Again, not Arabs.) The TURKS, the KURDS? (Not Arabs....) Etc. Or, are you only interested in 'Arabs'?

But, I'll TRY anyway to answer your question, GZ: how can you say this is only part of a civil war in that region and has nothing to do with us?

ANSWER: I *didn't* say that... I've never 'said that'.

(I HAVE SAID, *many times* though, as you yourself acknowledge, that a 'civil and religious war between the Shiite power bloc and the Sunni power bloc' would play out very much to the BENEFIT of Western and American long-term strategic interests, much as the Iran/Iraq Gulf War was beginning to in the Reagan years.) But, of course, that is a very different thing to say then what you claim!

And, for what it's worth, I have LONG railed against Theocratic extremism --- of whatever color, from whatever sect it springs --- and Whabbist-style educational brainwashing in educational systems (such as the Saudis pay for in their own country, and in the educational systems of Pakistan, Indonesia to an extent, etc.)

I've probably railed against it MORE then most any poster HERE, (even when MANY were studiously IGNORING these facts... or sticking up for our so-called 'allies' the Saudis and Taliban-supporting Paks), so it would just be silly and counter-factual to try to claim otherwise.
