Hello Nikole, It wasn't the Leak of Plames identity that Libby was sentenced for. Armitage was questioned and told what he knew. He didn't lie about it (at least as far was we know). Libby was questioned and lied about what he knew (to protect Cheney). Again it wasn't the actual 'Leak" of Plames identity... which you are trying to infer that is the issue... Its about lieing to a Grand Jury... ........... One other note. I am a former Republican, Voted for Regan twice (though reflecting back trickle down never worked). Was a McCain supporter in 2000 (but boy has he degenerated). Am a registered Democrat now. The Republican party has become a corrupt unit not worthy of any respect. They are going to spend a long time in the wilderness until they dump the religious right, neo-cons, FOX news and the vocal crazy right (Ann C.)
