You capture the essence of what america is. There will always be the no-nothings but take heart, in many countries no-nothings have ruled, here they are in the dustbin of history quite quickly. I am sure in el gavieros family when someone falls in love with an inferior he is banned, shunned, or worse. Thats why there were 12 folks in ElG family 100 years ago and there are 11 now. They all flee from his racist ideology except him and a few of the 6 finger folks he hangs with.
