I agree with you, and therefore I agree with the current track in the Senate and house to do investigations to get at the facts. It's not an easy proposition to expose corruption as is shown in the Plame affair many people are willing to perjure themselves and obstruct justice to protect people in higher positions. But I think it is a worthy cause to diligently pursue the truth and punish those who have broken the law. Otherwise what is the lesson? That one can break the law and get away with it.

I will also mention that I am wary of groups with great sounding names, because that is in my opinion a common tactic applied by the right. To create an ostensibly unbiased group to deal with an issue, but the reality is that the group is in fact very partisan and dishonest.

I give as an example Grover Norquist's group. Americans for Tax Reform. Sounds innocuous enough. One wouldn't guess that they are totally hard core righties that want to drown the federal government in the bathtub.
