"Britain's wealth was built on the labors of dark skinned coolies in distant places."

Obviously false. Britain's wealth was built on its being the first to experience the industrial revolution. It may have gained some incremental benefits from seeking out new markets for its products around the world, and using coolies to supply inputs but these are second order effects on the major source of its wealth.

Socialist clap-trap. <"Britain's wealth was built on the labors of dark skinned coolies in distant places." >

Japan's wealth is built on the labours of white skinned workers in distant places too. So what? We are paid well enough - supply and demand rates.

The "dark-skinned coolies" weren't slaves. They could choose to work or not work at the jobs offered. Britain was offering MUCH better jobs than the local chiefly slave-driver thugs. No wonder the local yokels were gung ho to sign up to the British Empire.
