The problem with that dodge is Libby outed Plame to Judith Miller and Matt Cooper before Novak knew anything. Novak can't speak for Libby's involvement. Is that too hard to follow?

At this point I don't give a rat's ass why her name was leaked. The fact is it was leaked and she was a covert agent of the US government, working to protect us all.
