"Dan was a cool dude." Abuse of franking privileges. It was so small scale, it brings a tear to my eye... Sort of like the big furor in New Zealand recently. See, the Prime Minister's motorcade was stopped for speeding as they went from a speech to a soccer game and they didn't want to be late. Note: they didn't get out of the ticket, nor was there an attempt to bribe or influence their way out of it. They were simply caught. Yet there was a big to do over it and there were calls for the PM to resign... We can't seem to have a political scandal that doesn't involve millions of dollars. Thousands of dead soldiers. A major city destroyed. Or maybe a blow job...
