India is a more civilized society than Pakistan.

If you think more human trafficking is the sign of a more civilized society, than yes, India is more civilized than Pakistan. They cut India a break this year. They were put on the Tier 2 Watch list instead of a deserved Tier 3 ranking because the US was negotiating with India over the nuclear exchange program. Putting India on Tier 3 would have required an Executive exemption on trade sanctions. The timing was awkward, so they were put on Tier 2 Watch list.

BTW - Since you are responding to a comparison between the US and UK, what is the percentage of foreign born / educated doctors in the UK?

Actually, I wasn't. I was responding to the alleged point that National Health Care suggests an increase in foreign doctors.

You may have forgotten what you said already. "Third world doctors that want a better life seem to be migrating to England to work for the socialized health care system."

I was making the point that foreign doctors are coming to the US and it's obviously not because of socialized medicine. What's particularly surprising is that you make a claim about foreign doctors in the UK and you're asking me what the percentage is.

Are you like Bush, it's just something you know in your gut?
