No need to be thin-skinned. If you're going to dish it out, you have to expect some to come back at you. Can we please return to our regularly scheduled programming? Like the fact that with a 15% higher IPC than Opteron, a Barcelon at 2GHz will perform like an Opteron at 2.3Ghz. So for single-threaded apps that aren't heavily optimized for SSE, Barcelona will underperform a Venice 2.4Ghz that sells for $53.99 with shipping included: newegg.com which makes me think that Barcelona (or Phenom) desktop sales will not be Phenom-inally good.
