Somebody like YOU might have to wait a little longer for a "simple procedure" under single payer (maybe, maybe not). Then again, you could always pay for it yourself if you are in a hurry. A person without a good job with benefits, like yours, could never get it done... the wait is until they turn 65. What do the uninsured do if they need a hip replacement?
