Not just Moslems Lindy. The English had the Tower of London and I viewed horrific appliances for all sorts of tortures 33 years ago. Maoris conducted all sorts of hideous operations including cannibalism, no doubt feeding spouses to enslaved defeated and the like. Germans raised cruelty to an art form/science with experiments on the doomed. Japanese imposed horrors on the vanquished. I'm sure there are some tribal groups who haven't at various times, conducted hideous operations against those they wanted rid of. I don't know who they are. I suppose Buddhists have been fairly benign in principle. Amerindians were horrific in their handling of vanquished. The serious horrors are when the value of human life is near-zero or even negative, which it is sometimes. Islamic countries have umpty million people whose lives are near zero in value. Overlay that with their murderous and cruel ideology and it's not surprising that they come up with pretty much anything. But that one doesn't ring true. Same as throwing the babies out and taking the incubators didn't ring true in Kuwait. And the male prostitute children in Moscow [reported by Time] didn't ring true, and was proven to not be true. Islamic horrors are horrific enough without making stuff up. It's possible that it's true, but I doubt it. Mqurice
