It makes as much sense as forcing women to cover their breasts in public while allowing men to have exposed breasts. We even makes laws about. One thought the end of the world was coming when we got a little peak of Janet's breast during the Superbowl. And that was just one breast! FCC throwing fines right and left. Conservative parents having to explain to their children that women had breasts.

I'm interested in hearing a pro-Muslim poster advocate the position that women should be veiled while men are not, and explain to us why veiled women is preferable to not having women veiled. I'm not that interested to read everyone's complaint about western culture......

There is no analogy there, try as you might to make one.

I thought the same thing. Some how I missed your post. I agree with you- it seems like the same issue. And do you remember the doilies women had to wear on their heads in church? I think it was a CAtholic thing- but when we were in Italy in the 70's, we had to put on scarves to see the churches. No biggy. It was their rules. I didn't see the men having to cover their hair, or lack thereof.
