Hi RR!

I received a finders fee from the last PP, and will get one again on this placement. I have the option to receive my finders fee in cash, but I choose the units of the placement instead and I am happy to increase my position. I have not sold any of those shares. So people can assume what they wish about my motives but if I was not entirely confident for my own outlook in BGL, I would have taken my profits and said thank you very much.

The issue of the pricing of the PP is more a question of timing than anything else. Unfortunately they decided to go ahead with raising the money at a time when the market is soft for the entire sector. The opportunity to buy a larger mill made it necessary to go and raise the money now. Like any other long term investor, I would prefer to see subsequent PPs offerred at higher prices but sometimes that is not an option. To my mind that fact that insiders continue to be heavy buyers of the stock is a far more important consideration

I have not heard of any problems at the mill. It would not surprise me if they were still working through the fine-tuning of the recovery circuit, and the reason they decided to start small was to gain the time to get the process running to optimum efficiency before moving to a larger operation.

cheers!
