OH GAWD! I'm glad I'm not in that district. I'm not sure which is worse. Impeachment? On what grounds? Constitution of the Unites states Article II Section. 4. The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Treason? I think not. Bribery? For what? When? Where? high Crimes? She's joking, right? high Misdemeanors? What? Which? Lying? Even if true, that's a crime only under certain circumstances. None of them seem to be met in any case. They say "he lied us into war"? Would they care to explain why Clinton and his buds said so many times Saddam had WMD? Bill said it as late as 2004. Shrillary voted for the War Powers bill that authorized use of force. Both had previously advocated regime change in Iraq. The worst that can be said is they had bad intelligence. And that can be said in every war we've been in. After Pearl Harbor, where were the calls for FDR's impeachment?Six weeks after announcing her departure from the peace movement, Cindy Sheehan said Sunday that she plans to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unless she introduces articles of impeachment against President Bush in the next two weeks. We KNEW something like was on her mind all along, didn't we?"Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership," Sheehan told The Associated Press. Cindy, a lot of us feel betrayed by YOU!Sheehan announced in May that she was leaving the anti-war movement and selling her 5-acre Crawford lot. She said that she felt her efforts had been in vain and that she had endured smear tactics and hatred from the left, as well as the right. Well deserved, too. Copyright 2007 The Associated Press.
