But, no one is advocating basing society on Darwinism. Just because evolution exists, it doesn't mean you have to use it as your model.

Although there seems to be those who want to. Ironically, they tend also to be the most doubtful about evolution...

But they DO. But the selection is done by the natural process, not by YOU. The "fittest genes" ARE the ones that survive through procreation. That's the ONLY standard of "fitness" a gene has.
