That was a nifty sleight of hand. How did you do that? You started with "Kyoto" and ended with "global warming". Now I am agnostic on this issue, but I can see that "what do Americans think about the Kyoto Treaty?" is not at all the same question as "what do Americans think about global warming?" It is possible to see GW as a problem to which the Kyoto Treaty is not a good solution (for various reasons).
