rendall cannot run again for gov. so he is using a big stick to try to force through some of his pets. To shut down Casinos and lose millions of income daily somehow seems ignorant. Rendall a Philly boy, is trying to force more state money into philly for public transporation again and of course pass the gun law for the city. I believe the union for public transit in Philly is the highest or one of the highest paid in the country , yet most citizens who never use the system are asked to continue to put more of their tax dollars into support of transporation to the city of philly. Oh his other pet has been a major project of oil to gas and i expect the excise tax increase on electricity would go to continue funding on this losing project. Electric rates in pa (peco are second highest in the country, used to be highest, so we will just add more costs to low and moderate income people) court ordered casinos to stay open. bloomberg news.
