s there any doubt the terrorist hate us more now than they did before we invaded Iraq

How absurd. How much more could they hate us then they already did? They ain't flying into towers to express their undying adoration. How you guys get this idea that we've done something to cause them to hate us I'll never understand. That hate us for the same reason they've always hated us, we're alive and free and Christian. It's really as simple as that.

As to the rest of the DNC talking points it's a waste of both our breath and typing abilities to continue on. I just couldn't let that absurdity fly without response.

How much did they hate us to hold hostage for well over a year all the people in the US Embassy in Iran??????

Exactly how much more did they hate us after WTC I? And the 2 Embassies? And the Marine Kohbar Towers? The USS Cole? And we still hadn't done anything before 9-11....

What do you blame all of that on?

He gets a "D-" on the tax cuts because he didn't get spending cuts to go along with them - in fact spending went through the roof. Tax cuts are NOT tax cuts when they go on the charge card! Prosperity today has come at the expense of paying for it tomorrow. Party on dude.

Have you looked at the Federal income and deficit numbers lately? Income up, deficit down and declining. The Laffer curve works.

Since we've been in economic recovery for about 6 years now, with relatively low unemployment, high earnings and given that the deficit is shrinking fast, I think Bush deserves a better grade - say a B.

As for the WOT, we first need to recognize our homeland hasn't been struck again for 6 years, even though there were followup attacks planned and promised immediately after 911. Since defense of the homeland is job one, I'd argue for giving him a good grade there too.

He also gets a "D-" on WOT, because he has made things worse. Is there any doubt the terrorist hate us more now than they did before we invaded Iraq?

No, they hate us enough to want to kill us just as they did before. Trying to summon up mythical gradations of hatred is fruitless.

Is there any doubt that there are more terrorist today than the day we attacked Iraq?

We don't know that. We do know we've killed a lot of them in Afghanistand and Iraq.

Is there any doubt we are more isolated as a country than we were the day we attacked Iraq?

No, France, Germany, Canada have elected conservative more pro-American governments since then. And we were never diplomatically isolated - its silly to talk about the worlds only superpower being diplomatically isolated. Another myth.

Is there any doubt that the effort in Iraq has taken away from the effort to control our borders?

Sure. Why do you think there's a relationship between the two things?

Are you not aware that the federal TAX RECEIPTS are UP SUBSTANTIALLY? Congress enacts spending bills not the President. If Congress didnt present inflated budgets it wouldnt happen. Dont blame Bush for the sins of others of either party. But, if you THINK spending will go down under Democrats you must be very naive. jdn
