I've been digging my fathers grave for a number of years. He's had 14 angioplasti's, has diabetes, heart failure and a host of other things. My mom has lost some of her Irish spunk with dad being ill and she being the care taker. Dad has said he's ready so I kind of brace myself when a person says they're ready to cross over to the other side. I hope you're right but I only hope that if they can have a quality of life. We've figured out how to extend life but now we need to find a way to make those extra years good years to be alive. I've watched so many people have what were suppose to be the "Golden Years" torn away by health issues that its really depressing. That hitch is one of 3 reasons I'm trying to quit smoking. If I stay clean (and I have been for over a month) I will probably get away with that transgression. If I don't I'm begging for the same issues I've seen others have and I really don't want that!
