LindyBill;

You are a Liberal running under false colors here in an attempt to troll.

The trouble with this thinking is that the people here are very conservative and label everyone that doesn't fall into their narrow acceptable political idealology as "liberal". If people here would be more respectful of other peoples thinking you would understand that people are all over the place with a lot of similarities and differences depending on what is important to them. The second amendment for instance is very important to me, so does that point alone make me a conservative? I have never offered "false colors" here and have freely and honestly admitted to being against the Iraq war almost daily. I have also freely admitted to being a social liberal - or more accurately a libertarian - in that I want government , all government, out of my personal life. That goes equally for democratic government or republican government.

You shouldn't be afraid of what I say LindyBill, you should welcome it. A lot of people feel just as I do - unable to join the existing group of major republican candidates, but still hoping someone there can represent us, so we are not forced to vote democratic. If the republican party fails to detect this feeling in America, they will loose and loose big in 08. Who will be to blame for that? The republican base of faithfuls who are intolerant of any views differing of theirs.

From the heart, I like Ron Paul and today would gladly and enthusiastically vote for him, as he and he alone most closely represents my views. I haven't sent him money yet - but I may. Distort my beliefs and call me a troll if that suits your cause, but you couldn't be more wrong about how I feel about Ron Paul. Am I alone in supporting Paul? Hardly as the votes after the debates clearly identifies a very VERY large group of dissatisfied people. Listen to those voters.......if you want the republicans to have a snowballs chance in hell of winning anything in 08.
