They'd get the same benefits as everyone else. Wouldn't that be the Christian thing, with those with the means taking care of those without? How many McMansions, flat screen TV's and Escalades do you Scrooges really NEED anyway?

You should see "Sicko", as it gets to this question concerning the sick souls of Americans such as yourself.

SS is a Welfare program, or at least an insurance program. Widows, orphans, and disabled people get more than they ever put in. Some people get less than they put in. It's not an investment account. The government doesn't hold your money until you retire and then give it back to you. They use your money to pay current beneficiaries. When you retire, the then current workers will be paying your benefits.

I know you don't like it, but a lot of people do, and have for a very long time. I don't think it's going anywhere.
