The right has been whining about the liberal press for decades. If it ever was really liberal, that changed a long while ago. But, they still like to pretend that it is the case. Given that they gave up on being "reality-based" some time ago, playing pretend is second nature at this point in time... Its the right's pretend game that the media is liberal when, in reality, they are far more centrist is how this country skews so far right compared to other industrialized nations. Tim still has a hard time accepting that France may be centrist on the political spectrum as opposed to somewhere over on the far left.
