Voting for someone who pledges to work against everything you claim to hold dear is a pretty good definition of insanity.

If the republicans runs someone I can't in good conscience vote for, I sure as heck am not going to vote for a democrat who's even worse.

If you had been honest about my comment you will note that I said I was actually a libertarian. Social liberals - just like republicans, pick and choose which issue they want to give you as "freedoms". A Libertarian on the other hand views the individual as all important and grants you freedoms that are taken away by both democrats and republicans.

You actually described yourself as both a social liberal and a libertarian.

I am a fiscal conservative. I believe in smaller government and very small if any taxes.

Good. I suppose you oppose universal government financed health care as a fix to our "broken" health care system? Universal health care would be a massive increase in government, taxes and government spending.

I will vote for a democrat before voting for one of those trying to instill fear into Americans by constantly drumming the beat of terrorism.

I believe that.

You believe we bring the threat of terrorism on ourselves by intervening in the ME - just like the Thais.
