I am using a "health-coach" (for lack of a better word) type of software to control my calorie intake. The program draws nutritional information from a database. I put in what I eat and the program will calculate not only the calories, but also how much of vitamines and trace minerals I get.

According to this information, I am usually short of vitamin D (which is not a problem) and selenium. My "normal" daily intake of selenium is only about 50 % of what it should be according to the program's recommendation (50 micrograms).
