I never stated that all the democrats voted for the Iraq war.

BTW, I'm sure very little "arm-twisting" was required to get the Democrats to vote for the invasion of Iraq. The ones that gave authorization obviously believed in the threat that Saddam posed and agreed that he was in direct violation of the numerous United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

We should praise courageous Senators like Max Cleland who voted against the war authorization even though he knew it would probably mean his election defeat.
