I was reading some info on st. joe and the article said they had raw florida land that was 4500 an acre at the top a couple years ago and is now going for 1500 an acre - it didn't say where this land was located at in florida - now I have looked at land in pasco, heranando, pinellas, and polk counties and have yet to find ANY land for 1500 per acre that can be bought in small lots. Even that garbage River Ranch land in the Redneck Riviera is going for more than that at public county auctions from my experience. Perhaps you can only get that 1500 an acre land if you are buying 1000 acre tracts. I kept asking dale baker where the deals were and he never told me.
