You think Lane3's comments showed snobbery and condescension. I think your comments show snobbery and religious bigotry. Both of you say neither was intended. on this point, i believe lane3 and i agree....offenses are taken irrespective of intent like i said in my previous post, i do not expect mormons to like the fact that i challenge their some of their beliefs i think i can do that (and have) without condescension a la 'imaginary friends' perhaps you see that as a distinction without a difference i do not and i certainly will not accept that anyone who challenges a belief system equates with bigotry far from it, my friend a bigot (someone who holds intolerance to beliefs other than their OWN) will dismiss others out of hand 'because they are different' to the contrary, i am willing to learn about others beliefs and make my judgments accordingly, that may be quite un-PC, but so be it now...this exchange is veering perilously close to a discussion of religions, something that lindy prefers not to see on his thread, so having made my points, i am terminating this conversation with this post
