Believe it or not, you do not have to brown it first... live and learn - I just learned that from my wife! 1 cup of condensed mushroom soup, one cup of milk, mix and add the pork chops to the frying pan and pour over the soup mixture. Simmer covered gently for an hour and it is delicious. My wife says you could probably go for 1/2 to 3/4 an hour with the simmering... I think she did ours closer to 1/2 hour and they were perfect!

I thought you had to brown the chops but nope - better if you don't!

Remember, when you simmer meat, you are cooking it at 212 with liquid to meat contact so it heats up very fast.
