I think beautiful women in normal clothing and normal poses present no problem at ALL in terms of advertising, so it's not the beauty I have an issue with, it's the lack of clothing, or the weird poses- there's a lot of S&M stuff in magazines like Vogue- it's done tastefully, but it's still S&M iconography.

All you need to do is a little reading if you want to figure out why normal women have self image problems when confronted with our culture. Women's eating disorders alone should give you a clue why this is a problem. There are books on this topic, but you could come up to speed with a few articles- should you be interested.

Sex is good- but it isn't something I want to see in the streets, and I don't want my kids exposed to it 24/7 until I feel they are old enough to appreciate it in a mature way, and they won't be damaged by it. So sure- have sex in magazines for adults- all kinds of sex, see it on adult cable- but we don't need it out where all the kids can see it. I don't mean we need to be prudish about it, but we also don't need to be explicit. If you want more sex, go out and get yourself all the movies and magazines you want, visit ladies of the evening, have an orgy with the neighbors- I see nothing wrong with any of that, but I don't think we have to make it a public nuisance.
