I understand your point, and I think you are right if the perception was that it was a witch hunt like they did with Clinton from the very beginning. But if one thinks about it the statement "impeachment is off the table" inadvertently gives a free pass for any and all illegal activities this administration has engaged in or will engage in. I would rather see the attitude be "if you break the law we will catch your sorry ass and throw it in jail". I would further like to see the leading democrats grow some balls and take on the administration. For example they should have cited Sarah Taylor for contempt of congress today and she should be sitting in a jail cell right now. Force the f'ing issue and stop whining. This administration is hiding behind executive privilege and the democrats are allowing it to happen.
